Before You Apply

Check Your Residency Status

Before starting your application, visit NC Residency Determination Services to obtain a Residency Certification Number (RCN) or verify that your existing RCN is still valid. If your residency determination has expired or will expire soon, update it before applying.

College & Career Promise (dual enrollment) applicants do not need to complete this step.

After You Apply

Once you've completed your application, be sure to click Submit Application.

After submitting, you'll be able to review your enrollment checklist for any additional steps or required documents in your applicant portal.
